[re]brand - global identity 

Essentra Packaging is a leading global manufacturer of packaging, brand protection & security solutions, for consumer, healthcare & ID products. Based in 7 UK locations and with operations in Brazil, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, USA and 3 sales offices in Singapore and China.

 

As part of Essentra plc, all operating businesses were required to rebrand to their new Essentra identity for the October launch deadline. 

 

project brief

  • To direct & implement a multi-site global rebrand of Essentra Packaging across Payne, Payne Security & Contego businesses meeting Essentra plc brand launch deadline

All sites went live on 12th October meeting the Essentra plc objectives and successfully launching Essentra Packaging, which is now recognised as a leading provider of packaging products.

The growth of the business through its product development and acquisition strategy required a new approach to its marketing communications with a focus on the value of all its packaging products to both customers and consumers.

  • To build awareness, media coverage and ultimately greater understanding of the broader product range to differentiate from the competition

Worked with design & PR agencies to deliver the message of ‘Packaging Resolved’, which launched at the European Packaging Summit and gained coverage on BBC Radio 4 & 5 Live and ultimately a nomination and a Highly Commended award for the UK’s 2013 Packaging Company of the Year. 

 

Created a set of new sales tools and presentations for the sales team to deliver the message of the product value – focusing on Open, Close, Inform and Protect. Using key facts and research to support the value positioning and gain credence for the Packaging Resolved message.

 

Increased effectiveness of web, social media and e-marketing with CMS controlled websites presenting a focused professional image and improving website visits and lead generation for the business.
